Dans notre thèse, nous analysons, par une approche centrée sur le temps, comment l idée d en-commun est pensée avec et à travers cinq des romans africains de l écrivain d origine camerounaise Léonora Miano. En d autres termes, nous nous demandons comment la romancière invite à s interroger sur la problématique du vivre-ensemble, donc de la Communauté, à partir de l Afrique contemporaine. Cela signifie d explorer, à travers le temps, certes les problèmes liée à une expérience africaine de la Communauté mais aussi les voies pour les surmonter. L une des hypothèses majeures est que l on ne saurait penser l en-commun dans le contexte africain contemporain sans tenir compte de la blessure. Par conséquent, suggérons-nous, examiner la manière dont la blessure est comprise et pansée est essentiel dans la manière dont les romans permettent de penser l en-commun.Tout au long de notre réflexion, nous démontrons que penser l en-commun avec Léonora Miano, c est reconstituer le récit d une restauration des individus et des groupes, en considérant la trajectoire qui conduit les individus et leurs communautés d une condition dysfonctionnelle à une restauration, voire à une réinvention, de ce que nous appelons la capacité de Communauté, et grâce aux réserves d espérance. Nous appuyons notre réflexion sur l analyse de cinq des romans de l écrivaine dont le continent africain est le cadre spatial principal. Il s agit des romans L Intérieur de la nuit, Contours du jour qui vient, Les aubes écarlates: Sankofa cry, trilogie que nous lirons comme un seul roman, en la désignant par le titre de La Suite africaine. Les deux autres romans sont La saison de l ombre, et le premier roman d anticipation de la romancière Rouge impératrice roman.Notre analyse des romans obéi, pour l essentiel, à trois exigences. Tout d abord, nommer le temps particulier dans lequel se situe l intrigue des romans ; c est ce que nous appelons l étape de l identification. Ensuite, mettre en évidence, en les interrogeant, les efforts diverses mobilisés pour s extirper d une situation où la Communauté est soit perdue soit bouleversée, afin de retrouver ou de maintenir une normalité ; c est ce que nous appelons l étape de la négociation. Enfin, nous examinons comment s opèrent le pansement et la guérison, quand et où ils sont effectifs, en considérant que ceux-ci aboutissent à une restauration ou une préservation de la capacité de Communauté ; c est l étape de la restauration ou du rétablissement.L analyse des romans aboutit à trois grandes conclusions. La première consiste à soutenir que pour une expérience véritable de la Communauté, il faut retourner à la forme la plus à même de restaurer un lien d appartenance, sinon authentique, du moins organique. Cette forme, c est le clan. La deuxième est qu une expérience de la Communauté dans laquelle l en-commun est pleinement réalisée n est possible que dans les marges. Enfin, pour pleinement restaurer la Communauté, il faut se projeter vers d autres espaces : soit vers un futur, soit vers une dimension mystique.

In our dissertation, we analyze, through a time-centered approach, how the idea of the in-common is thought with and through five of the African novels by the writer of Cameroonian origin Léonora Miano. In other words, we wonder how the novelist invites us to question the problem of living together, therefore of the Community, from contemporary Africa. This means exploring, over time, certainly the problems related to an African experience of the Community but also the ways to overcome them. One of the major hypotheses is that we cannot think of the in-common in the contemporary African context without taking into account the wound. Therefore, we suggest that examining how the wound is understood and healing is essential in the way novels make it possible to think the in-common.Throughout our reflection, we demonstrate that to think the in-common with Léonora Miano is to reconstruct the story of a restoration of individuals and groups, by considering the trajectory that leads individuals and their communities from a dysfunctional condition to a restoration, or even a reinvention, of what we call the capacity of Community, and thanks to the reserves of hope. We support our reflection on the analysis of five of the writer's novels for whom the African continent is the main spatial framework. These are the novels L'Intérieur de la nuit (2005), Contours du jour qui vient (2006), Les aubes écarlates: Sankofa cry (2009), a trilogy that we read as a single novel, designating it by the title of La Suite africaine. The other two novels are La Saison de l ombre (2013), and the first anticipation novel by the author Rouge impératrice (2019).Our analysis of the novels obeyed, for the most part, three requirements. First of all, the naming of the particular time in which the plot of the novels is located; this is what we call the identification stage. Then, highlighting, by questioning them, the various efforts mobilized to get out of a situation where the Community is either lost or upset, in order to regain or maintain normality; this is what we call the negotiation stage. Finally, we examine how dressing and healing are carried out, when and where they are effective, considering that they lead to a restoration or preservation of Community capacity; this is the stage of restoration or recovery.The analysis of the novels leads to three main conclusions. The first is that to experience the true Community one should to return to the form most capable of restoring a bond of belonging, if not authentic, at least organic. This form is the clan. The second is that an experience of the Community in which the common is fully carried out is only possible in the margins. Finally, to fully restore the Community, we must project ourselves towards other spaces: either towards a future or towards a mystical dimension.
